Living Child is committed to being open, honest, and accountable in all our operations.
We work in close partnership with communities in Papua New Guinea and engage actively with local stakeholders, partner organisations, and donors throughout the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of our programs. We do this in a spirit of mutual respect and trust, sharing relevant information to support inclusive and effective development outcomes.
Our marketing and communications are guided by principles of dignity, respect, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity, as set out in our Transparent & Ethical Communications Policy. We seek consent, protect identities when needed, and ensure all voices are represented fairly and ethically.
We openly share financial information through this website, annual reports, and audited financial statements. We maintain a clear and active Conflict of Interest Policy, which ensures that any potential, perceived or actual conflicts are declared, managed and resolved appropriately.
We welcome enquiries from the public, media, partners, and supporters, and are committed to proactive and responsive information sharing. Where information cannot be disclosed - such as for reasons of privacy or safety - we will clearly explain why.
We value the voices of our supporters, partners, community members, and volunteers. Your feedback helps us improve our work and remain accountable to those we serve.
If you would like to provide feedback, request information, or raise a concern, we invite you to contact us. We aim to respond to all enquiries and complaints within 24–48 hours.
You can read our full Complaints Policy, which outlines how to submit a complaint, how it will be handled, and how you can escalate concerns if needed. Living Child protects whistleblowers in accordance with our Whistleblowing Policy.
If your concern relates to a breach of the ACFID Code of Conduct, you can also lodge a complaint directly with the ACFID Code of Conduct Committee at https://acfid.asn.au/content/complaints.
